Finally, teh CQcat enables critiques, but is there much to critique?

Lets face it, with the new Tim Burton adaptation out, there is going to be a lot of work out there heavily influenced by either Burton's dark style or by the story itself.

I really like your take on Alice in Wonderland and the characters... from Alice herself to the subtle Cheshire cat in the background - which you'd almost miss if you don't look twice and let me say it's worth the second, third and fourth look at this.

I'm glad that when you first showed me this on MSN you've changed the 2 elements (in the hair and the odd mushroom) to blend more into the palette you've choosen. Although it's a restricted palette of blues, pinks and purples, it's exploding with colours.

You're confronted first and foremost with Alice, styled in a typical CQCat fashion with soft flowing fabrics and your trade mark shading. I love the additional touch of the some what emo inspired fingerless gloves... beautiful touch.

You're then brought to the caterpillar, a small element but it brings you more into the tale of Alice. Then you're confronted with this wonderfully detailed foreground, in such bold colours as Alice herself.

What I love most about this is the use of muted colours in the background to push your foreground and main character into the focus, giving the impression shes deep in the forest.

I think the only element, which truth be told I had to really concerntrate to find something, that I'd personally improve on would be the mushroom detailing on the one in the foreground left... the curves could be a bit smoother. But really, in the grand scheme of things, this piece is near on perfect.

Beautiful gradients and delicate patterns... this has to be one of my all time favourites from you.
